How to Choose the Right TV for Your Business Needs

For restaurants decor, is very important. Anything that you want to install in your restaurant should look good, render picture brilliantly, you should also have a bezel that fits seamlessly into your restaurant. Also, you should consider where you are installing the TVs and what you are going to show on them.

A monitor bezel, or screen bezel, is the area of a display that surrounds the screen. Like the image below.

Ease the Transition with Digital Signage

Decor – The shape of the TV

  • For Fine Dining restaurantsWe recommend a thin bezel or bezel less TV, that should blend into walls and should look like you are displaying a great artwork. This allows you to promote your services blended with the art, in artistic sense.
  • In bars-  You should position TV at two different places –
    • Right below or above the shelf - This makes it easier for viewing by bar customers.
    • Above the bar stools - For viewing by restaurant customers. Bar customers don't see these TVs. These TVs should be thin with an almost invisible bezel or chrome bezel - so it fits nicely into typical bar decor.
  • For fast casual restaurantsDecor should be there, but it should not be loud. It is very easy to install with ANY TV. This is the most common use for displaying menus and showing specials. You can get most of the TVs with a thin bezel and looks nice. Just be cautious on buying the right size, NOT too big, NOT too small. Make sure the TV can be mounted vertically.

Functionality - do you really need a Smart TV?

It depends on your needs - but most likely NO. You can buy a device like Amazon FireTV and get most functionality you need at a much lower cost. Also, this approach increases the longevity of the TV significantly. In this world of ever evolving technological progress, the life of a TV screen is 10 years, but only 2 years for a computer. "Smart" functionality will be out dated within 2 years, while you can still use the screen for about another 8 years.

Good picture quality

Ultra HD TV is also known as 4k, it refers to the horizontal display in the order of 4,000 pixels. 4k TVs are built on a newer technology and they last longer, the picture quality is also better.  Full HD is at a resolution of 1080p high-definition video modes characterized by 1080 horizontal lines of vertical resolution.Although, 4K TVs are higher in price than the Full HD TVs. We recommend purchasing a 4K TV because they are generally made with newest hardware, and will last longer.

Reduce Waste While Saving Time

While flyers and posters can be a great way to inform customers of menu editions or changes, promotions, specials, or upcoming events, they create an added expense and unnecessary waste. Instead of printing hundreds of flyers that may go completely unnoticed each week, you can display the same information in a more dynamic and attention-grabbing way.

Plus, because digital signage software is cloud-based, you can make changes in an instant in case of an accidental misprint or time change. Another great example of digital signage usage is as a digital menu board. Simply make the menu changes in the easy-to-use platform and publish to your preferred televisions. You can even schedule the digital menus to appear as far in the future as you choose.
